Objective: to create a scientific basis for solving the problem of effective surgical care for patients with pathologically altered biological tissues through the use of the latest electrothermal surgery equipment, tools and technologies based on studying the biophysical characteristics of these tissues under high frequency current and convection infrared. Research methods and list of equipment - physical and mathematical modeling of welding and processing of biological tissues using electrothermosurgical technologies with universal experimental laboratory complexes, processing and analysis of the data. As a result of this work, new knowledge was obtained as to the behavior of pathologically altered tissues of different types under the influence of RF current and convection-infrared fluxes. Medical and technical requirements and technical conditions for the creation of specialized equipment and tools have been developed. Technical solutions, structural and basic schemes and basic software of the latest electrothermosurgical equipment for the treatment of pathologically altered tissues have been developed. Sketch and technical designs for models of specialized equipment and tools have been developed. In COMSOL 5.2 the mathematical model of compression of biomaterials with use of their real parameters is created. Prototypes of electrothermosurgical equipment and instruments for the treatment of patients with pathologically altered tissues were created and tested.
