The decisive factor in the formation and development of such interaction is strategic communications, which are one of the most important components of the management system, which make it possible, while remaining within the limits of democratic practices and principles, to organize an effective counterattack against destructive informational influences conducted by the external aggressor - the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Scientifically, the research work is based on the current governing (administrative) documents that regulate the interaction between the management bodies of the SBSU and NATO international standards, and the scientific and theoretical substantiation of the strategic communications of the SBSU and the determination of the patterns of their development on the basis of Euro-Atlantic principles and approaches. As a result of the work, the theoretical foundations of the strategic communications of the SBSU were investigated, the mechanisms of the strategic communications of the SBSU were determined and characterized, an analysis of the legal framework on the strategic communications of the SBSU was carried out, the process of the functioning of the strategic communications of the SBSU was analyzed, the foreign experience of the use of strategic communications of the NATO member states was analyzed, and directions and ways of improving the strategic communications of the SBSU were also determined. The materials of the work will be used in the management activities of the Administration of the State Security Service, in the operational and service activities of the state border protection bodies, as well as in the educational process with students of the faculty of management training.
