Registration Date 12-08-2022 Organization National Science Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology" popup.description2  Numerical PIC simulation of the focusing of test positron and driver electron bunches in a dielectric waveguide filled with both radially inhomogeneous and homogeneous plasma with a vacuum channel was carried out. The formation of a plateau-like longitudinal distribution of the wake field excited by the electron beam was studied, which provides the same accelerating wake field for the entire bunch and, thus, leads to a decrease in the emittance and energy spread of the externally injected and accelerated bunch of electrons. The influence of the profile of the dielectric structure on electric fields excited by a plane wave and a Gaussian pulse in accelerators based on chip structures was studied. The distribution in space and time of the amplitudes of electric and magnetic field components excited in a cylindrical plasma-dielectric accelerating structure by electron bunches injected with a shift relative to the axis was studied. The dynamics of self-injected accelerated bunches of electrons, which are accelerated by a wake bubble in a plasma of metallic density, depending on the parameters of the laser pulses, were studied.
