At the first stage of research, mathematical modeling of the specific differences of recorded volumes of natural gas was carried out and methods of their measurement were developed. At the second stage, the measured data on the heat of combustion of natural gas in different regions of Ukraine for 2014-2019 were evaluated, and on their basis, predictive modeling of this physical quantity for the following years was carried out. The third stage of the work is devoted to the assessment of regulatory requirements and technical possibilities of introducing natural gas accounting in energy units in Ukraine. the results of which are the basis for the development of methodological foundations for the construction of information and telecommunication systems for natural gas energy accounting. As a result of the work carried out, a mathematical model in the form of an analytical dependence was obtained for indirect measurement of specific differences in natural gas volumes based on direct measurements of consumed gas volumes, air parameters in the room near the gas pipeline and the gas meter and ambient air. A mathematical prognostic model for determining the heat of combustion of natural gas for a certain month of the year and region of Ukraine has been developed. A methodology for measuring natural gas energy by indirect methods has been developed based on measurements of consumed gas volumes, air temperature around the gas meter and the results of measuring the heat of gas combustion. The obtained work results can be used as a basis for the development of methodological foundations for the construction of information and telecommunication systems for natural gas energy accounting.
