Object of research and assessment of fire resistance of cable lines. The subject of research is the method and procedures for testing cable lines for fire resistance. Research methods - an analytical research method and an experimental method of researching the fire resistance of cable lines to determine the influence of test conditions and parameters of test samples on the results of evaluating the fire resistance of cable lines under the influence of a standard temperature regime, as well as experimental methods of determining such fire hazard indicators of cables as the resistance of cables to the spread of flame, heat of combustion and fire load of cables. During the performance of the work, an analysis of regulatory documents, literature and other sources of information regarding requirements for fire resistance of security systems of buildings and structures, existing methods of assessing the fire resistance of cables and cable lines was carried out; experimental studies of the fire resistance of cable lines under the influence of a standard temperature regime in order to justify the parameters and the number of samples for testing, establishing the scope of application of the results of these tests. Based on the results of the research, a project of the national standard was developed, which established a method of testing the fire resistance of cable lines under the conditions of exposure to a standard temperature regime. The structural elements of this project correspond to the provisions of the European standard.
