The object of research is the assessment of fire resistance of building structures and fire barriers. The subject of research is methods and procedures for testing building structures and fire barriers for fire resistance. Research methods - the analytical method of research and the experimental method of research on the influence of the parameters of the means of temperature measurement in furnaces on the results of tests of building structures and fire barriers for fire resistance, which were carried out according to national and European principles. During the work, an analysis of normative documents, literary and other sources of information was carried out regarding the general principles of testing building structures and fire barriers for fire resistance, which were implemented at the international, regional and national levels. An analysis of discrepancies in the principles of testing building structures and fire barriers for fire resistance in the EU and Ukraine was carried out, according to the results of which it was determined the presence of a number of significant differences, which relate, in particular, to the limit state based on the loss of bearing capacity of load-bearing structures, parameters of means of measuring the temperature of the furnace and verification of test bake Based on the results of the research, projects of three national standards were developed, which establish general requirements for methods of testing building structures and fire barriers for fire resistance, alternative and additional procedures for fire resistance tests, and requirements for verification of the parameters of test furnaces.
