The purpose of the work is to determine the physical and mechanical properties of sandstones, the samples of which were taken in the conditions of the main field conveyor stretch of the 930 m horizon of PJSC «Management of the mine "POKROVSKE". Research methods – laboratory experiments according to developed methods, analysis of results, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the uniaxial compressive strength of two sandstone samples was determined, the samples of which were taken in the conditions of the main field conveyor stretch of the 930 m horizon of PJSC «Management of the mine "POKROVSKE". As a result of conducting laboratory studies, the abrasiveness values of the studied rocks were obtained for samples from each sandstone.
