The purpose of the work is enhancing the efficiency of mechanisms of information interaction of subjects of integrated border management at the regional level, managing operational and service activities of state border protection bodies on the basis of authorities’ support of making decisions with the help of developed tools (algorithms, methods, techniques) risk analysis with further software development providing and integrating it into the information and telecommunication systems of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The study of the theoretical and methodological foundations of risk analysis in the field of integrated border management was carried out in the work. The stages of development and implementation of risk analysis in the State Border Service of Ukraine are considered, its regulatory and legal support and the practice of risk profiling in the border agency are studied. The work is intended for the development of recommendations for the improvement of regulatory and legal support for risk analysis in the State Border Service of Ukraine based on the analysis of risks in illegal activities and the assessment of the results of the execution of the specified tasks by the state border protection body.
