The purpose of the work is to develop an addition to the "Project of degassing of the mining area 867 lava of the layer C8n of the «Zahidno-Donbask» mine. Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation for working out 867 beds of the C8n layer of the PSU «Mine management Ternivske" of the "Zakhidno-Donbaska" mine of PJSC "DFEС PAVLOGRADVUGILLYA» was analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation area, the parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by wells, and the required diameters of the gas pipeline was performed. "Measures for the management of the degassing system of the excavation area during fires in mining workings" was developed. The "Correction of the degassing project of the extraction section 867 of the layer C8n lava of the "Zakhidno-Donbaska" mine has been developed.
