The purpose of the work is to develop the "Project for degassing of the mining area 178 of the stratum C6" and "Recommendations for ensuring the dust and gas safety of dead-end mining works" for the «Stepova» mine of the PSD «Management of the mine Pershotravenske» PJSC «DFEС Pavlogradvugillya». Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of excavation site 178 of lava of layer C6 were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation area 178 of the lava of the C6 layer, the air consumption for ventilation of the treatment production and the excavation area, the parameters and the mode of degassing by wells was performed. The "Project of degassing of excavation area 178 lava of layer C6" was developed. "Recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety of works on ventilation of dead-end productions" have been developed.
