Using the methods of composite materials mechanics, a mathematical model of the connecting node of a cable-stayed rope composed of a system of parallel reinforcing elements, regularly located in several planes and connected by rubber, was developed, solved and investigated. A method has been developed to take into account the influence of the design of the rope fastening nodes on its strength. A cable rope model as an electrical system with parallel discrete current conductors connected by a material of low electrical conductivity was developed, solved and investigated. The requirements for the system of automatic control of the state of the cables of the cable rope have been developed.
