The goal is to deepen and develop the scientific and methodological foundations and develop practical recommendations for managing the effectiveness of higher educational institutions in the context of globalization. Research methods: During the performance of the work to solve complex scientific tasks, general scientific and special methods and methods of learning processes and phenomena in their relationship and development were used: dialectical, analysis and synthesis, structural-logical and semantic analysis (when studying and generalizing theoretical and methodical aspects of the management of the effectiveness of the higher education institution); deduction method - for obtaining intermediate (partial) conclusions based on the analysis of the nature of the general process; the method of induction - for making formal and logical generalizations, thanks to which it is possible to formulate a general conclusion taking into account individual facts; statistical and economic analysis; system analysis (development of a mechanism for implementing the strategy of a higher education institution, application and development of a system of balanced indicators for higher education institutions); comparative analysis (to compare scientific approaches to determining the essence of the concept of activity effectiveness, identifying its main elements and factors that influence it).
