The object of research is the risk management system as an integral element of customs control. The purpose of the work is to develop organizational and management and provide proposals for improving the software and technical aspects of the information support of the risk management process. Research methods – the method of synthesis and analysis, generalization, comparison, abstraction, historical method, dialectical knowledge (to form the theoretical basis of research); system and complex approaches. The scientific novelty of the work is that it further developed the interpretation of the essence of the concept of "customs information", systematized the signs for its classification, described the process of its circulation; international approaches and recommendations regarding the formation and application of information support for the risk management process are summarized; proposals for the construction of a single information database of the customs authorities' SRM are substantiated and the algorithm for its application is described, as well as for the improvement of the regulatory and legal field by introducing amendments to the Resolution of the CMU "On approval of an exhaustive list of grounds, in the presence of which an inspection (re-examination) of goods, transport means of commercial use by revenue and tax authorities of Ukraine" dated May 23, 2012 No. 467. According to the results of the conducted research, foreign approaches and recommendations on the formation and application of information support for the risk management process were analyzed; the organizational-administrative and software-technical aspects of improving the information support of the risk management process are substantiated.
