The aim of work: modification of number nitrogen-containing heterocycles (pyrimidines, etc.) with fragments of glycerol derivatives as precursors in synthesis of perspective compounds. Research methods and equipment: NMR spectroscopy (Varian WXP-500), mass spectrometry (MX 1321), TLC, elemental analysis. The possibilities formation of purine bases precursors by amination the amide function of number 2-R-pyrimidin-4(3H)-one derivatives using sulfonate method were investigated. This choice is due to fact that sulfonate ions are known as convenient groups that are easily removed in nucleophilic substitution or elimination reactions, and formation of sulfonates, as a rule, does not require harsh conditions and is carried out in high yields. The peculiarities of 2-substituted pyrimidine-4(3H)-ones tosylation, containing a double bond in α-position of side chain were studied. It was established that reaction of 2-vinylpyrimidin-4(3H)-ones and benzoyl derivatives of 2-thiouracil with p-toluenesulfochloride is carried out selectively by oxygen atom of amide group with formation the corresponding sulfonates. Based on obtained results, a method a number of 2-thiouracil derivatives amination with 1-aminopropane-2,3-diol (product of glycerol processing) was developed.
