The subject is the system of principles, techniques, balancing mechanisms and the main directions of implementation of memory policy in Ukraine and Poland. The purpose: to investigate the politics of memory in Poland in relation to Ukraine and vice versa, to describe the political discourse of Poles in relation to Ukraine and Ukrainians and vice versa, to outline the political representation of national minorities: Ukrainians in Poland and Poles in Ukraine. Research methods: theoretical - synthesis and analysis, generalization, systematization, comparative, structural-functional, axiological, descriptive, historical, synergistic; empirical - statistical, event analysis, content analysis, framing method. Results and their novelty: a number of results were obtained in the presented studies: 1) a theoretical review of the basic provisions in the field of state historical policy was carried out; 2) the political representation of the Polish national minority, its public interests in the Ukrainian political and cultural sphere are highlighted; 3) the activity of presidents and state authorities in ensuring the formation and implementation of the historical policy of Ukraine and Poland is outlined; 4) analyzed the Polish discourse of Ukrainian Facebook users. The results are covered in 6 publications (popular science and science-expert). Characterization of the research results: the study of the implementation of the memory policy in Ukraine and Poland was carried out. Significance and practical application of the research: it is applied in the process of formation of historical, ethno-national policy at the state and regional levels, in the activities of civil servants, employees of local self-government bodies, and activists of national and cultural societies. Scope: professional artistic and educational environment. Conclusions: GDR should be considered as not requiring further research.
