The purpose of the research is to develop design documentation for the production of an experimental sample of a roll casting-rolling plant. The analysis of world and author's analogues of the designs of roll casting-rolling plants and the analysis of the state of the theory of rolling and combined processes based on rolling in terms of deformation, kinematic and energy parameters revealed a number of controversial and erroneous provisions. It has been established that the theoretical provisions regarding the main technological tasks of roll casting-rolling have not been disclosed due to the fact that the information often has the nature of know-how and constitutes a commercial secret. As a result of the analysis of the features of the roll-casting rolling process and the forecasting of possible production situations, technological approaches to the design of the design of the technological tool and equipment were developed.
