Objective: to create and study mathematical models and their computer implementation of complex oscillatory pendulum and electromechanical systems, to establish basic laws and study oscillatory motion, to develop advanced techniques and innovative technologies in engineering education. Research methods and equipment: theoretical analysis, mathematical modeling, packages of Applied Computer Programs, modern computer technology. In the work, on the basis of methods of classical mechanics, nonlinear mathematical models are created: a pendulum of variable length, which is a load with a point mass that performs 2D vibrations on a weightless flexible rope wound on a bicylindronic drum that rotates around its own axis; movements of a mechanical system where the load is suspended on a non-stretchable thread that is screwed on a cylindrical drum that rotates at a constant angular velocity, and the axis of the drum is connected to an arrow of length that rotates at a constant angular velocity. Numerical methods and computer algebra tools were used for the analysis. The influence of various parameters on the movement of the system is studied. Graphs of the dependence of the main parameters of the system on time, trajectory, phase portraits, and amplitude-frequency characteristics are plotted. Based on the LaGrange-Maxwell analogies, mathematical models of a number of electromechanical systems are created: an electrodynamic vibrator, a multi-coordinate electromagnetic vibration stand, and an electrodynamic guchkomovets. The nonlinear dynamics of these systems are studied using computer technology using the created models.
