A necessary component of complex monitoring is hydrogeological monitoring, which was carried out in 2020-2021 by the Radioenvironmental Centre of the NAS of Ukraine using a network of observation wells located at the territory of the architectural ensemble of St. Sophia's Cathedral and the territory of the museum "St. Andrew's Church" and a network of hydrophysical observation posts located on the territory of the architectural ensemble of St. Sophia Cathedral. The data of hydrogeological monitoring of the territory of the National Conservation Area in 2021 are given and analyzed in a scientific report. In particular, the regime of the water table and temperature of groundwater at the territory of the architectural ensemble of St. Sophia's Cathedral is given and their chemical composition is investigated, as well as the regime of the water table of groundwater at the territory of the museum "St. Andrew's Church", in addition, the regime of the volumetric moisture content in the soils to the north and northeast in the immediate vicinity of foundations of St. Sophia Cathedral and to the north and south in the immediate vicinity of the foundations of the bell tower of St. Sophia Cathedral. As a result of the analysis of the hydrogeological monitoring data of 2021 and previous years, appropriate conclusions were drawn and recommendations were made to achieve and maintain the optimal state of the geological environment of the territory of the architectural ensemble of St. Sophia's Cathedral and the territory of the museum "St. Andrew's Church".
