The role of cellular and tissue metabolism in the diagnosis, clinical course and treatment of renal and genital diseases popup.stage_title Head Kostiev Fedir I., д.мед.н. Registration Date 17-11-2022 Organization Odessa National Medical University popup.description2  The study is experimental and clinical, performed on laboratory rats and is devoted to the purpose of determining the level of pro-inflammatory markers and individual enzyme systems in the blood plasma and kidney tissue of animals with acute pyelonephritis against the background of concomitant hyperglycemic state to monitor the development and course of the inflammatory process and evaluate the effectiveness of drug exposure. Acute pyelonephritis with concomitant hyperglycemic condition causes an increase in the level of prostaglandin E2, with Type II diabetes in blood plasma by 208.2% and animal kidney tissue – by 112.6% relative to the norm. It is proved that in acute pyelonephritis, significant violations of the indicators of the peripheral blood leukocyte formula were detected at all follow-up periods. In the kidneys, we found a pronounced violation of the redox state of nicotinamide coenzymes-a decrease in NAD/NADH to 2.31 at a norm of 4.10, and NADPH/NADH to 3.07 at a norm of 3.96. Changes in the content of β-2 – microglobulin indicate an important role of concomitant type II diabetes mellitus, and to a greater extent Type I, in the development of tubulointerstitial damage. The use of etiotropic and pathogenetic drug effects contributed to a significant decrease in PGE2 and LV4 levels in blood plasma and kidney tissue in rats with recurrent acute pyelonephritis and diabetes mellitus.
