MS Bokarius of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine popup.description2  The object of research is the products of speech activity (from a single word to an entire text or a group of texts), recorded in written form, as well as oral messages, with the mandatory provision of their text reproduction (transcripts). The purpose of the work is to prepare a methodological manual for linguists with the aim of developing theoretical and methodological provisions of the linguistic examination of speech on the issues of conducting semantic and textual studies of the speech act of threats to provide practical assistance to forensic experts. Research methods are general scientific and special linguistic: formal-logical, descriptive, comparative, modeling, linguistic-statistical, semantic-syntactic, lexical-grammatical, logical-grammatical, contextual, discursive, intent-analysis, content-analysis. Theoretical and practical results – lexical-semantic means of expressing the speech act of threat in speech were revealed. The means of expressing the speech act of threat in texts and oral messages are described and classified. The analysis and evaluation of the identified lexical-semantic means of expressing the speech act of threat was carried out. Novelty – for the first time, an algorithmized method of linguistic research of the speech act of threat is to be developed. Effectiveness of implementation – the developed technique will allow to significantly increase the level of execution of forensic linguistic semantic-textual examination of speech.
