The purpose of the research - the main purpose of this research work is to solve the question of whether the larvae of flies at different stages of their development have the properties to store narcotic and poisonous substances in themselves after feeding on the tissues of the corpse, if they were present in the latter, and to develop a methodology, namely, methods of detection , extraction and determination of narcotic substances in fly larvae; collection of data to determine the effect of narcotic substances on the rate of development of larvae, which can provide grounds for establishing not only a possible cause, but also a more accurate time of the death of a person. Research methods and equipment - general scientific, separate and special (analysis of statistical data, generalization of expert practice); microscope, thermostat.
