Regardless of the structural formula of these drugs, this interaction is manifested by the appearance in the IR absorption spectra of films taken in the bands of Amide I, formed from an albumin solution with the addition of drugs, new peaks that are absent in the spectrum of the albumin solution and in the spectra of drug solutions. The spectral parameters of native blood smears, which, in our opinion, characterize the state of ligandization of albumin, a blood protein that performs a binding and transport function for various substances in the body, including drugs, are individual in cancer patients. they are significantly lower than in the group of practically healthy people, the lowest rates occur in patients with malignant diseases of the lung. In this group, the spectral indices in patients with lung squamous cell carcinoma are higher than in patients with adenocarcinoma. The analysis of the obtained results did not reveal any difference in the indices in patients with stages III and IV of the process. An increase in the spectral parameters of a native blood smear of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy after treatment with a solution of calcium chloride, in our opinion, characterizes the potential ability of albumin to additionally bind ligands, which can be considered as a favorable factor in individual sensitivity to chemotherapy.
