Both HOXC6 and TMPRSS2:ERG markers can only be used in conjunction with PSA or PCA3 tests if their results are equivocal, with TMPRSS2:ERG being preferred because it showed the best sensitivity and specificity. It has been proven that, under the condition of prostate biopsy with PI-RADS≥3, the sensitivity and specificity of mpMRI and biMRI both in detecting all stages of PCOS according to ISUP, and in detecting only kzPCOS, were equivalent, bpMRI compared to pcMRI allowed to reduce detection by 5.4% knRPZ and increase detection of kzRPZ by 15.2%. At the same time, under the condition of biopsy with PI-RADS≥4, the sensitivity of mpMRI in detecting all grades of RPZ according to ISUP and kzRPZ exceeded this indicator of bpMRI and was 85% vs. 71% and 96% vs. 82%, respectively (p<0.001) ; bpMRI in comparison with mpMRI detected 2.1% less knRPZ, however, the latter made it possible to detect 6.5% more kzRPZ. Such data justify the use of the bpMRI protocol in patients with a low risk of clinically significant RP (ISUP>1). A statistically significant difference was obtained between the average values of VCR in patients with RP compared to BPH, CP and normal prostate tissue. The use of VCD of diffusion-weighted MRI images for differentiation of RPS of any grade according to ISUP from non-prostate cancer, with a cut-off value of 1.01×10−3 mm2/s, demonstrated a sensitivity and specificity of 97% and 92%, respectively (AUC=0.968; p<0.001), and for the detection of csRPZ at the threshold value of 0.76×10−3 mm2/s – 96% and 96%, respectively (AUC=0.976; p<0.001). In addition, a strong inverse correlation was observed between the value of the VCR and the category of RP according to ISUP (r=-0.761; p<0.001), which allows this indicator to be used as a diag Product Description popup.authors Borzhiyevskyj Andrij Tsezarovych Nakonechnyi Yosyf Andriyovych popup.nrat_date 2022-12-01 Close
