The purpose of the research is to determine the most influential philosophical and historical ideas, schools, currents and personalities of Eastern countries in Ukraine, theoretical generalization of the features of communicative behavior of representatives of Eastern cultures. Research methods – concrete-historical, comparative, structural-functional methods, system and content analysis; problem-chronological, analytical, comparative and retrospective; observation as a field method research, linguistic, comparative method, methods of psycholinguistic analysis of word semantics, method of cognitive interpretation of data. The existing practices of intercultural communication, mutual understanding, consensus and social partnership between Ukraine and the countries of the East have been improved at the levels of main social values, fundamental principles of worldview, language practices, literary discourse and historical memory. The reception of the key philosophical ideas, schools, currents and personalities of Eastern countries in the Ukrainian philosophy of the 19th-20th centuries on the materials of Chinese and Indian philosophical cultures was studied. A comparative analysis of the key philosophical and cosmological teachings, ideas and categories of Ukraine and the countries of the East was carried out, and their functioning in modern cultural practices was investigated. A comprehensive analysis of the unfolding of political, ideological, social and cultural trends in the People's Republic of China, significant for the development of strategically significant relations between Ukraine and China, was carried out.
