A number of species have been identified that are background or common in this region. Rare species of plants and animals (Red Book of Ukraine) and plant groups (Green Book of Ukraine), primeval and quasi-primal forests, natural habitats protected by the Convention on the Protection of Wild Flora and Fauna and Natural Habitats in Europe were not found on the investigated sites. All areas designated for sanitary and recreational measures (selective sanitary felling) within the boundaries of the Beloozersky, Vklyoglushansky, Hirkivskyi, Dolskyi, Lyubeshivskyi, and Lyub'yazhskyi forests are set aside in kind, and damaged, dead trees, and broken tree trunks of the corresponding diameter are marked with numbers.
