The objective of the work is to unite the experience and capabilities of the researchers of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and the Technical University of Kosice in the improvement of the management of energy generation and redistribution of hybrid photovoltaic systems of local facilities with storage batteries with planned energy generation in the grid and using prediction to reduce the cost of electricity consumed from the distribution grid. Research methods – system analysis to establish structural and informational connections between elements of the local facility's energy management system; simulation modeling of energy processes in the daily cycle in the MathLab/Simulink software environment; methods of statistical processing of experimental and archival data on the generation of renewable sources. The approach to the calculation of generation, parameters, and control of a photovoltaic system with a battery connected to the grid and the choice of the installed power of the equipment at the accepted load schedule of the local facility has been improved. The principles of management with reference to active power consumed by the object from the grid have been developed. The calculation of a hybrid (solar-wind) system with a battery for the self-consumption of a local object with a specified load schedule and a cost reduction factor for electricity consumed from the grid was carried out.
