Purpose - to determine the factors that determine the stability of the organic surface layer on femtosecond laser-textured surfaces with superhydrophobic properties to ultraviolet radiation. The research methods were scanning electron microscopy (SEM-106 Selmi), energy dispersive spectroscopy (MIRA3 LMU, Tescan), infrared spectroscopy (Nicolet 4700), sitting drop method (Konus Academy + Delta Optical HDCE 5). Based on the results of the performed studies, LIPSS textures and their combinations with micro texturing were selected as the most effective and stable water-repellent structures. For further research, silicon and organofluorine modifiers were chosen, the use of which allows achieving the values of the angle of wetting of surfaces up to 164° and stability under UV irradiation is 3.5-5 times higher compared to aliphatic modifiers. An approach to the evaluation of the energy of textured surfaces by analyzing the wetting curves with test liquids with a surface tension range of 18-73 mN/m was developed. The obtained results are the basis for the second phase of the project, which is planned to assess the feasibility of implementing the results as water-repellent, anti-icing, and anti-corrosion surfaces.
