Surface microstructure and processes of thermally stimulated release of implanted deuterium were studied using modern measuring devices. Thermodynamic parameters of deuterium trapping and desorption from two-phase Li4SiO4 ceramics with different content of the secondary phase Li2TiO3 were determined. Deuterium gas release from all studied ceramics occurs in the temperature range of 300-800 K, but is represented by a different number of desorption stages. The low-temperature stage, associated with deuterium diffusion, is characterized by the same desorption peak temperature (365 K) for all studied materials, that indicates the independence of deuterium diffusion from the phase composition of ceramics. High-temperature stages of desorption are associated with the release of deuterium from radiation-induced traps.
