The purpose of the scientific and research work is to study the theoretical foundations, develop practical and methodological recommendations for identifying traditional and new challenges to economic policy and business strategies in conditions of structural, institutional and financial imbalances in the global economy. Research methods. The peculiarities of structural transformations and imbalances in the fluctuating global economy have been analyzed; the imperatives of the new macrofinancial mix policy have been investigated; an analysis of the public sector under the impact of global challenges has been carried out; imbalances and problems of structural corrections have been identified; eco-centric orientations of global transformations have been outlined; the movement of factors in the global economy such as asymmetries and imbalances has been investigated; the problems of forming a new business environment in the global economy have been identified and ways of their solution have been proposed.
