Despite the fact that in the late 1970s and early 1980s the publishing house "Naukova dumka" published thematic biographical guides, which for a certain time eliminated the gap in scientific biographies, however, in some places their materials veer towards politicization, the volume of fundamental research and their pace have increased significantly since then, and many new names have appeared that require adequate coverage, which was carried out during the implementation of the scientific intelligence of the institute.
