The aim is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological foundations and develop practical recommendations for the formation of security for sustainable development of regions and territorial communities of Ukraine and its strengthening on the basis of inclusive growth. As a result of the project the complex scientific and practical problem of strengthening the security of sustainable development at the micro, meso, and macro levels in the context of the relationship of importance and interdependence of each of the components in the socio-ecological and economic development of the territory. Theoretical and methodological basis has been developed and scientific and practical approaches to strengthening the security of sustainable development of regions and territorial communities on the basis of inclusive growth have been substantiated, namely involvement in solving problems of development of all segments of the population. and improving the quality of the environment. The project team has developed a comprehensive mechanism to strengthen the security of sustainable development of regions and territorial communities of Ukraine and formulated recommendations to counter possible threats to national security in the context of decentralization, which has practical value for the economy and its inclusive growth. The results of the study were used by state and regional governments, local governments in developing measures to implement sustainable development policies of regions and local communities at the micro, meso, and macro levels.
