With surface treatments to a depth of 12-14 cm, they were smaller by 2.1-7.6 percent Significant precipitation in the second half of the growing season and crop ripening replenished moisture reserves in all soil horizons to almost 53 mm in arable soil, to 106-113 mm in half-meter soil, and to 173-180 mm in meter soil. It was found that plowing to a depth of 20-22 cm provided the highest yield of corn and sunflower - 11.5 t/ha and 2.86, respectively.
