Optimal conditions for experimental observation of this effect on secondary beams at CERN were evaluated. The analysis of the features of the movement and emission of relativistic electrons in thin crystals is carried out, taking into account the phenomenon of channeling and dechanneling of electrons. The relationship between the fraction of channeled electrons and the spectral characteristics of their coherent radiation at a small crystal thickness is shown. The possibility of a significant increase in the luminosity of a proton beam on a fixed target was considered as part of research on conducting a precision experiment on measuring the electromagnetic dipole moments of short-lived particles, which is proposed in the CERN "Physics Beyond Colliders" project. The conducted analysis showed that it is possible to increase the luminosity by exciting the bunches of the LHC main beam, applying random noise excitations with a transverse damper. This will significantly (by 4÷7 times) reduce the time required to collect the necessary statistics. Product Description popup.authors Bondarenko Mykola V.
