The subject of the research is theoretical and practical recommendations for the development of management of tangible and intangible assets in the conditions of European integration. The purpose of the project is to determine the conditions for improving the management of the development of tangible and intangible assets of the enterprise in the conditions of European integration. The following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis, system, process, scenario approaches, statistical, index method, linear programming, economic-mathematical and structural-logical modeling. Theoretical substantiation and testing of scientific-methodical approaches to the formation of an optimization model for minimization of production costs due to by-products and secondary fuel, energy and water resources was carried out on the basis of the theory of inter-branch balance. Quantitative and qualitative indicators were determined and a comprehensive assessment of the intellectual potential of machine-building enterprises was carried out using the decomposition-aggregate method. Based on the study of foreign experience, it is proposed to evaluate intellectual property objects (intangible assets) not only as a separate subject (patent), but together with related technologies, which together form a patent portfolio. The "maximum-minimum" approach is mathematically substantiated for determining the range of valuation of an intellectual property object, as well as for identifying the searchable market value for the purpose of concluding purchase and sale agreements. A scientific-methodical approach and practical aspects of quantitative and qualitative assessment of the level of intellectual property management have been developed.
