It was experimentally established for the first time that the electron temperature in the plasma outside the accelerating channel increases when an external magnetic field is applied in the MPC channel. The analysis of experimentally obtained volt-ampere characteristics of electric probes allowed to assume that two populations of electrons with different temperatures are generated in the compression zone. It is shown that the area of the displaced intrinsic magnetic field increases in the compression zone in the presence of an external magnetic field in the accelerating channel. It is established for the first time that there is a redistribution of electric current and magnetic reconnection of power lines in the plasma flow during the middle stages of MPC discharge in a magnetic field.
