The purpose of the research is to study the level of influence of NPP activity on the formation of morbidity in the population of the SZ NPP population in the dynamics according to the indicators of radioecological monitoring. Research methods: socio-hygienic, analytical, statistical. In everyday conditions, the radiation impact on the environment associated with the production cycle of the SUNPP is insignificant. The average concentration of radionuclides in the atmospheric air of the population centers of the SZ NPP is several orders of magnitude lower than the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). SUNPP discharges to the Pivdenniy Bug River, according to the indicators of radionuclides that are monitored do not significantly change the quality of surface water. The specific activity of 137Cs in agricultural products in the SUNPP is insignificant and did not exceed the permissible levels. According to the indicators of environmental monitoring, it was established that the concentrations of pollutants in atmospheric air emissions and discharges to the river of the SUNPP do not exceed the MPC. A higher level of morbidity in general and by classes of diseases was determined in the urban population of the SZ, compared to the rural population. A reliable difference in the morbidity of adults and children aged 0–17 years by class in the Bratskyi and Domanivskyi districts of the SUNPP was established. During the period 2018–2022, the Laws of Ukraine regulating radiation protection did not undergo significant changes, but social protection was adapted to the conditions of martial law. Social protection of the population in the city of Yuzhnoukrainn fully complies with the laws that were in force in Ukraine during the war.
