The purpose of the work is a comprehensive study of the new arrival based on the phenotypic expression of signs, determining the norm of the reaction of introduced samples to biotic and abiotic factors of the Polissia zone of Ukraine. The research method is field and laboratory. Short-term applied work was carried out in the biotechnology laboratory of the Institute of Potato Growing. Introduced samples of Jerusalem artichoke varieties were used as starting material in the research: Pasko, Interes, Sonyachny, Znahidka and Skorospilka. In connection with the martial law, the establishment of field experiments was carried out in the private sector. For planting, they chose a well-lit area where it will not shade other plants, that is, they planted it around the perimeter of the garden. Five introduced Jerusalem artichoke varieties were planted and studied on the site: Pasko, Interes, Sonyachny, Znahidka and Skorospilka. Almost all varieties had a compact and easy-to-plant root. All varieties, except the Nakhidka variety, differed in average yield - the weight of one fruit varied from 60 to 80 grams. The yield of the Nakhidka variety was high. The Pasko variety turned out to be the best among the Jerusalem artichoke varieties studied. His plants had intensive growth, developed quite quickly, branching is weak.
