The purpose of the work is to create and implement methodological recommendations for assessing the state of the body of sick animals with anemia with the subsequent application of the latest methods of hemotransfusion treatment with a well-predicted effect for the recovery and stable remission of animals. The research methods are physicochemical, microscopic, immunological, statistical, clinical. According to the results of scientific research, it has been established that the transfusion of erythrocyte mass for the treatment of hemolytic anemia, as a complication of babesiosis, has an immediate substitute effect. At the same time, there is a rapid increase in the number of erythrocytes, hemoglobin content and hematocrit index, and the clinical condition of the sick animal improves. during the transfusion of erythrocyte mass, the body of the recipient animal is not loaded with plasma proteins of the donor blood, which reduces the risk of an allergic reaction, and the erythrocyte mass quickly restores blood oxygenation, unlike iron-containing preparations and group B vitamins. Transfusion of fresh-frozen blood plasma for the treatment of canine parvovirus infection and carnivore plague makes it possible to stabilize albumin and total protein in the body of the recipient animal, and also ensures the arrival of complementary antibodies, which create specific passive immunity of the sick animal, thereby shortening the period of struggle against viral infection.
