The purpose of the work is to develop, improve, and implement burners for burning pellets of agricultural origin, to determine the main regularities of the process of their combustion, and to study the influence of regime parameters on the temperature distribution in the combustion chamber, as well as to study the productive characteristics of bioenergetic herbaceous and woody crops as biofuel raw materials. Research methods – thermophysical modeling, experimental studies. During the execution of the work, an experimental installation based on a solid-fuel boiler with a pellet burner for burning pellets of agricultural origin for heating the passive house of the ITTF of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was improved. The combustion of wood pellets in the combustion chamber of a solid fuel boiler is simulated and the thermo-hydraulic features of the flow in the "water jacket" of the boiler are given. Experimental studies of the burning characteristics of pellets of agricultural origin, namely beet pulp and rapeseed, as well as wood pellets, were also conducted. On the basis of the constructed graphic dependencies, the main regularities of the process of their combustion were determined and the influence of mode parameters on the temperature distribution in the furnace chamber of the boiler was investigated. When burning wood pellets, CO and NOx values were measured, which will allow in the future to exclude ecologically dangerous modes of burning pellets in boilers. The materials presented in the report can be used for the development and improvement of devices for burning pellets of agricultural origin, as well as for choosing the most optimal modes of burning these pellets in low-power boilers.
