In modern agriculture, the cultivation of leguminous crops, which are characterized by high productivity and liquidity in the market, has become widespread. However, their cultivation is associated with the use of large amounts of mineral fertilizers with an acidic reaction to the soil, intensive use of soil pesticides and methods of soil cultivation that contribute to the development of erosion processes, the creation of an underground microbiological condition of the sole, deterioration of the physical and chemical indicators of the soil due to limited access organic residues in the soil. Such crops as corn, sunflower, rape and sugar beet create tension in agrocenoses. At the same time, leguminous crops require low rates of phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, and nitrogen is supplied to them as a result of the symbiotic activity of microorganisms, a significant amount of which remains for subsequent crop rotations. The root system of grain leguminous crops is well developed and able to withstand drought and drains the soil well and restores its structure and has a positive effect on the soil microbiota. The development of the principles of alternative fertilization, siderates taking into account the change in the structure of sown areas in the direction of intensive crops, the cultivation of grain legumes according to these principles will improve the dynamics of the physico-chemical indicators of the soil and their physico-mechanical structure.
