Registration Date 29-12-2022 Organization Sumy State University popup.description2 The present work shows the comprehensive investigations of phase state, magnetic properties and magnetoresistive effects of AlCrFeCoNiCu thin-film high-entropy alloy (HEA). Mosaic target with six segments has been used for tailoring the film composition. The results show that magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of HEA thin films are significantly affected by the presence of the face-centered-cubic (FCC) phase, which is formed during the annealing process. High defective structure of thin films in as-deposited state results in the presence of the paramagnetic phase causing the absence of magnetization and magnetoresistance. The formation of the FCC phase during heat treatment leads to the anisotropic magnetoresistance appearance. The present work shows that only the anisotropic magnetoresistance is fixed in high-entropy film alloys based on Al, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu, in particular films of equiatomic composition. The concentration dependences of the magnetoresistance have monotonic characteristics – with increasing content of non-magnetic metals the value of the magnetoresistance decreases. The dimensional dependences of the anisotropic magnetoresistance are also monotonic. A slight increase in the value of the magnetoresistance with the increasing thickness of film alloys is shown. Regularities in dimensional and concentration dependences of magnetic parameters (coercivity, remanent magnetization and saturation magnetization) for multicomponent AlCrFeCoNiCu film alloys with different thickness and concentration of components are established.
