The main product of small arms of this enterprise is the 30-mm gun LVG-30 (hereinafter referred to as LVG-30), which is used as a standard artillery weapon as part of the infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2, multi-purpose fighter MiG-29 and attack aircraft SU-25. The LVG-30 gun is an upgrade of the 2A42 aircraft gun. The subject of the first stage is to study the technological operations of machining parts of military equipment and weapons in the CAF-system (Computer Aided Forming System). During the implementation of this stage of the general research, rheological modeling of the machining processes of parts made of hard-to-machine materials for 30 mm gun LWG-30 in the CAF system DEFORM 2D in the conditions of pilot production of SE LORTA of Ukroboronprom concern was carried out. The results of analytical and experimental studies of technological inheritance of quality parameters in the process of manufacturing parts of military equipment by the LM-hardness method in terms of the criterion of material homogeneity. Tests of the process of deep grinding of external cylindrical surfaces of parts from hard-to-machine materials with thin abrasive inclined wheels were carried out. Joint Ukrainian-Lithuanian research works on optimization of the processes of machining of armor-piercing materials for SE "Lviv Armored Plant" were carried out. The results of the research were published in 2 articles (one of them is indexed in Web of Science (Q2), the other - in a professional publication of Ukraine) authored by Ukrainian and Lithuanian co-executors of the project. In addition, 1 article was submitted for publication.
