The purpose of the work is to establish the possibilities of synthesis of condensed complex phosphates of double phosphates of alkali and transition metals in nitrate melts of alkali metals. The research method is solid-phase synthesis and synthesis in melts using fluxes. Melts of phosphate and phosphate-halide systems of alkali metals are universal solvents of oxides of transition and rare earth metals. At the same time, phosphate melts, acting as a reaction medium, are simultaneously the initial components of the synthesis of phosphate compounds. Among the double phosphates of alkali and divalent metals, several common types can be distinguished: MIMII(PO3)3, MIMIIPO4, MMIIP2O7 and MMII(PO3)4. Compounds with this composition are most studied by a complex of physicochemical methods: IR, EPR and electron spectroscopy, magnetochemistry, derivatographic, atomic adsorption, X-ray phase and X-ray structural analyses. The possibility of synthesizing phosphate compounds in alkali metal melts with valuable electrophysical properties has been proven. A number of phosphate compounds with various properties were obtained using alkali metal fluorides and methods of growing single crystals of complex compounds.
