In the course of the research, the following tasks were set and solved: the influence of state institutions and informal institutions on competitive relations in industry was revealed; a scientific and methodological approach to the assessment of institutional convergence in industry was developed; regimes have been developed aimed at achieving a state of institutional convergence in industry, the result of which should be the leveling of the factor of destructive competition.
