RADIOECOLOGY, GAMMA SPECTROMETRY, BOTTOM SEDIMENTS, RIVER, RADIONUCLIDES, BASIN OF THE TISA RIVER. The object of the research is radioecological monitoring of the territories of the Tisza River water basin. The purpose of the work is a systematic analysis of the results of radioecological monitoring of the territories of the Tisza River water basin, obtained as a result of numerous expeditions for the sampling of silt and soil samples. Development of radio-ecological monitoring of the territories of the Tisza river water basin The main scientific results – the research for the Tisza River bed as part of a separate expedition was conducted for the first time, which gave new opportunities to assess the state of its ecosystem and surrounding territories. The first results of GAN distribution in silts of the Tisza and Borzhava river basins were obtained. The importance of modern statistical methods for summarizing the obtained results of the distribution of GAN of natural and man-made origin in silts and soils of the Tisza River basin, the influence of latent factors caused by nuclear and geochemical factors on them is shown, the methods of gamma and neutron activation analysis on the M-30 microtron are applied to silts of mountain rivers to control their isotopic and chemical composition. Application of computer programs Decay Calculations for clarification of nuclear physical constants and Nuclear Dating for nuclear dating problems. It is also important to internationalize similar research together with scientists from Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia, and to form cross-border projects. The obtained results are also relevant for other countries of the Euroregion that have mountain ranges, such as Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria.
