The purpose of the work is to establish the possibilities of synthesis of double phosphates of alkali and transition metals in melts of fluorides of alkali metals. Research methods - chemical, physico-chemical research methods. The acid-base properties of high-temperature molten phosphates and systems based on them are used for directed synthesis of inorganic compounds with a wide range of physical and physicochemical properties. Molten phosphate and phosphate-halide systems of alkali metals are universal solvents for oxides of transition and rare earth metals. At the same time, phosphate melts, acting as a reaction medium, are simultaneously the initial components of the synthesis of phosphate compounds. Condensed simple and double phosphates are represented by an extremely diverse range of different compounds, therefore, depending on the required state of the phosphate material (mono- or polycrystals, ceramics, etc.), they can be obtained by various methods of synthesis. The synthesis of phosphate compounds with valuable electrophysical and chemical properties has been proven, in the development of targeted and directed synthesis of phosphate compounds with various properties. This led to a detailed study of their crystal structure and a study of their physical and chemical characteristics, which will be used in the development of new technologies.
