Settlement of spotted deer (5,600 individuals). began in the 1950s. Stations of existence: cluttered floodplain forests, reed thickets, eutrophic swamps. Acclimatizers are larger than the native form. Roe deer (3,200 individuals) in Askania-Nova, NPP "Zalissya", on the Biryuchy and Dzharylgach islands have signs of inbreeding: the animals are small with deviations in the structure of the horns. A significant proportion is kept in enclosures. Stations of existence - from sparse pine forests in Polissia to arid salt marshes in the Steppe. In the Middle Dnieper region, 33 species of Gossiformes were found. Most species gravitate to large areas of near-aquatic vegetation with spacious open water pools. In winter, the largest number of birds (9 species detected) is observed in the area of Kyiv HPP, Bortnytsk aeration station, Trypilskaya TPP, as well as in ice-free areas within Kyiv. 55,000 individuals were found in the Utlyutsky estuary. 13 species. The greatest species richness was noted in the mouths of the Velikiy and Maly Utlyuk rivers. The largest number of birds was recorded south of the Atmanai Dam. 34,000 households were registered in the territory of the Milk Estuary. 10 species.
