The investigated coatings are made by magnetron sputtering followed by heat treatment. The magnetron targets have the composition: Ti -40 at.%, Zr-40 at.%, Ni- 20 at.% (± 3 at.%). During the STC studies were conducted to control the structure and phase composition of Ti-Zr-Ni system alloys in the form of thin coatings; experimental samples of coatings were made, radiation and mechanical properties of experimental samples of Ti-Zr-Ni coatings with different structure and phase composition were tested.
