Research methods – general methods of analytical research, theoretical methods of research into pneumatic engine working processes, as well as methods of converting solar energy into electrical energy are used; methods of mathematical analysis and processing of experimental studies. In the work, an analytical review of the existing KEU, analysis of their main differences, advantages and disadvantages, a study of the working processes of the pneumatic engine and the development of a method of heating the compressed air at the inlet of the pneumatic engine using renewable energy sources were carried out. The results of this work are of strategic interest to automakers, manufacturing enterprises, truck carriers and can to be used in the interests of national security and defense of Ukraine.
