Changes in the number and characteristics of spatial distribution, as well as the impact, were analyzed various anthropogenic factors on them. Based on the collected data on the herpetofauna of the Pripyat basin (1787 cadastral points for the 20-year period) and with the help of his-analysis the most valuable sites for preserving the diversity of amphibians and reptiles were identified, and the modern spatial distribution of species was analyzed. 7 new territories of the nature reserve of the fund and 11 promising territories of the "Emerald Network" were proposed. The modern species composition of the fish population of the rivers of the Right Bank Polissia was determined, in particular, the places where rare and alien fish species were found. In general, 41 species of lampreys and ray-finned fish were found in Sluch, 28 species in Ubort, 33 species in Teterevo, and 24 species in the tributary of Teterevo, Zdvizhi. Certain sections of Slucha, Uborti and Teterev are valuable from the point of view of preserving the aboriginal fish population, while Zdvizh is mainly canalized, and especially the upper reaches can dry out. A revision of the species composition of the small mammal fauna of the territories belonging to the basin of the Zahidny Bug River and adjacent territories (including Poland) was carried out. The analysis showed that the most valuable territory of the region in terms of biodiversity is the Shatsky National Park, where 96% of the total fauna of small mammals is registered. The distribution of 12 model species under the protection of the Berne Convention on the territory of the Volyn and Lviv regions was analyzed and recommendations were made for the monitoring and protection of rare mammal species.
